Starry Night is my favorite painting. I saw it in person at Yale many summers ago while it was on tour, and I could not stop staring at how thick the paint came off the canvas and how tiny it was in person, it always felt bigger than life to me. Van Gogh painted it from the window of his asylum room, and in college I minored in Art History with him as the focus of many of my papers. If you have ever spotted the Starry Night Lego set in the background of my reviews, now you know why. I have a lot of Starry Night things, even leggings. ⭐ So when I spotted this beauty in Sandy Bros' collection back in the spring and she graciously offered to make one for me, and then it was announced for the space themed drop, it was a must. 🎨 Assembling the avalanche was my favorite part. You pour the white and yellow thick and glossy over the chunky glitter blue clear, then wait as it slowly blooms over about a week, the toppers gently dropping into the base and mimicking Van Gogh's swirls. I checked on it every day like my little slime pet, and it created the most stunning dreamy slimey vibes. I am so thankful for my patience, which is rare. 🌙 Full transparency, my jar took a scenic trip around New England during a heat wave, so it arrived a little melty. I reactivated the base and let it sit a few days before assembling. It could have used a touch more, but I was scared to over-activate. 🌌 This slime is just perfect. The scent is lovely and soothing, the gold foil is AMAZING, the star fimos are everything, and the mini framed Starry Night print is the perfect keepsake.. 🌌⭐🎨🌙🌌⭐🎨🌙🌌⭐🎨🌙
