Rainbow Fish

🐠 rainbow fish by @pilotslime 🌈 🐠 texture: coated sequin crunch 🌈 scent: water 💙 size: 7oz, advanced level I could not be more excited to review this beautiful slime. When my son was a baby, we had the waterproof version of The Rainbow Fish with a matching bath toy, and reading it to him at bath time is a core memory for me. Everything about this book is how I try to live my life and how I want my son to live his, with kindness. Fun fact for fellow book lovers: This was initially published in 1992 with real shimmering foil scales on every rainbow fish, and it has since been translated into more than 50 languages. Kindness travels. There are so many good quotes I do not even know where to start, so here are a few: “What good is a shiny scale if it causes others to feel small and insignificant?” “True beauty lies in how we treat others, not in our appearance.” “Kindness is like a ripple effect, spreading joy wherever it goes.” Now for the slime: it is a GORGEOUS coated clear sequin crunch, and it embodies the Rainbow Fish perfectly in the colors, the sequins, and the sheer mass of them. Great pops, great crunches, super stretchy, just so much fun. The “water” scent intrigued me and it is really refreshing, like greenery or grass with mineral notes. I love this brilliant book theme and how beautifully it was done. Thank you, Pilot!
