Sliming is not a cheap hobby. When you fall in love with this community you want to support every single shop as much as possible, and it adds up! I know how expensive it is to run a slime shop and how much thought and detail goes into every jar. So thank you so much Lime Slimes, and thank you to every shop that does giveaways, they are so much fun and so appreciated. This slime is one of the ones my gift card went to because of course I have zero self control and immediately used it. Boardwalk Taffy is a divine slay x java chip combo. Lime’s slays never disappoint, always on point. The scent is gummy bears, rocket pop, and salt water taffy, and on my nose it is sherbert notes and gummy bear city, super candy centric. I love the java chips per usual, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy the round beads too, they are super fun and fit the aesthetic perfectly. Little boardwalk lore while you play: legend says salt water taffy got its name in the 1880s when a storm flooded an Atlantic City boardwalk candy shop with ocean water, and the owner jokingly sold his soaked stock as “salt water taffy.” The name stuck forever, even though there has never been actual seawater in it. Iconic marketing accident (I work in Marketing). This one sold out so fast that I thankfully caught it in the second drop and did not have to miss out. It makes great big pops, super loud, and inflates so easily. So so happy with this one!
