I am not a deeply religious person, even though I grew up in a Catholic household and family. I resonate most with Buddhism, and the whole zen vibe of this drop gave me a real buddha-energy feel from the second I saw it. I love a koi pond. My grandparents had one when I was growing up, and my grandfather was always battling to keep the koi safe and alive. So this slime hit a very tender memory spot before I even cracked it open. Aesthetically? Just simply beautiful. Serene and peaceful. I almost don’t even want to touch it because the visual is so settling on its own. The lava rocks layered on the bottom seal the whole vibe in. Pure little zen pond in a jar. The scent is a really nice light sage and white tea. White tea is one of my absolute faves. It smells lightly perfumy and clean, and the sage rounds it out and grounds it back into that zen aesthetic. Perfect pairing. Now the texture. Gel clear with lava rocks. MOMO does note this is not recommended for sensitive hands because lava rocks can be too abrasive for some, but for me personally I did not find them abrasive at all. They give such a great crunch and feel so right in this slime. The cronch factor here is elite. I love this slime. I hope it clears up and I can play with it from the start again soon. Stillness in a jar. Some slimes ask you to slow down. This is one of them.
