Funnel Cake

It was gorgeous. Once mixed it really is soft, plush and smooth. It is unexpectedly a little more clay heavy than a normal Rodem, but it is really nice nonetheless. One honest note: I do not get much scent on this one, and I am not sure why. My nose is pretty sensitive and there may be something light in there, but I am not picking up the notes. I absolutely love the jam red topper with the red squishy cherries. They add such a fun component since they are squishy and big, and I wish there were even more of them in there. I love this carnival theme drop, all the memories and the feels. Fun fact: funnel cake stayed a Pennsylvania Dutch home recipe for about two centuries, and it only became fair food after the Kutztown Folk Festival started frying it for crowds in the 1950s. Every midway in America followed.
