🪼 jellyfish jubilee by @sandybroslimes 🫧 🪼 texture: japanese paper clay with a glow in the dark jelly topper 🎂 scent: birthday cake and strawberry passionfruit 🫧 add-ins: sequin tiles and tiny ocean creature fimos 🩷 charm: handmade crocheted jellyfish bookmark by Caroline of Hamster Hobbies, with a little bell in the center for the ju-bell-ee @hamsterhobbiesslime 🪼 label: Ashley Houtz @houtz.ashley The star of this slime is the handmade crocheted jellyfish bookmark charm by Caroline. It is so fun and so big, and I always pick the slimes that come with Caroline’s crocheted works of art. She even tucked a little bell into the center to play on the jubilee, the kind of detail that stops me in my tracks. Fun fact on the name: a jubilee is a real thing on the Gulf coast. A few times each summer in Mobile Bay the water goes low on oxygen overnight and pushes crab, shrimp and flounder into the shallows, and locals grab buckets and wade in at dawn. Only a couple of places in the world do it. The Japanese paper clay is beautiful. Super smooth and highly moisturized, so it is lovely on dry hands, with pulp and paper worked into the clay that gives it a denser feel, thunderous pops and a really smooth stretch without ever feeling pulpy. The glow in the dark jelly topper is such a beautiful addition, full of sequin tiles and tiny ocean creature fimos, like peeking into your own little underwater world. The scent is birthday cake and strawberry passionfruit, and the two blend together beautifully. If birthday cake and vanilla gourmand are not usually your thing, the strawberry passionfruit evens it right out. And the Ashley Houtz label has the signature black cat alongside Caroline’s little late-hamster Espresso, one of my favorite storylines in slime.
