Today we’re diving into A Motel That Exists Between Realms by Sparkle Nanny! This is a Taffy Gloss texture with a block bead topper, scented old paper, dusty linen, and dampness. I was asked the other day what my favorite texture from this shop is, and it was such a hard question! 😂 I’m already super indecisive, and I love all of them, so maybe the right answer is… whichever one is currently in my hands! LOL. 🤣 This slime is a thick, chewy, thick-and-glossy variant, and it paired really well with the block beads because the base is so plush. You can definitely feel the texture the block beads add, but they aren’t super pokey. If your hands are especially sensitive, this may still not be the texture for you since there is some texture from the beads, but I personally really enjoyed it! The bubble pops build really easily with just a couple of stretches and deliver sharp, crispy bursts that are just music to my ears! 🎶💥 The off-white color immediately sets the scene for a motel that’s out of date, where the sheets have been washed too many times in well water and aren’t stark white anymore. The old paper scent notes remind me of a library, while the linen and dampness give you the feeling that this is definitely not your average space. It’s not quite a mildew or mold smell, but rather the smell of a place that’s stale… like it has been sitting untouched for far too long. A space that exists between realms. 👻 To me, the scent really helps bring the entire theme home.
