I am an extremely empathetic person just like Victoria. I cry at movies, I feel for strangers I have never met, I get emotional over anything to do with animals. I feel things so incredibly deeply that it is part of what makes me me, sometimes a blessing and sometimes so heavy it feels like a curse. This one is one of her favorites from the restock (and mine) and the reason why is the whole point. She sees people with a lot of empathy as having literal diamonds and pearls running through their veins, worth more than the riches of anyone who lacks it. Empathy solves problems, it creates opportunities and friendships, it brings people closer. She has heard powerful people call it weakness and could not disagree more, and neither could I, but it took me a while to understand. The topper does a lot of the storytelling here. Diamonds and pearls suspended in clear over a paper clay snow base, the treasure running through the slime the same way she describes it running through us. She had never made this texture before and said it was hard to put down, which tracks, because it is plush and clay heavy with the softest snowy drag. The scent is amazing and so multi-faceted. The blueberry vanilla and the banana split stand out the most to me, bright and creamy at once, with butterscotch coming through underneath. The texture and the scent are both so good, but the meaning is what I keep coming back to. Spread love and empathy instead of hate and fear. That it!
