Name: Forbidden Beach Slimer: @mythicalmushbunnyslimes Texture: thick jelly and small sand filled sidekick Scent: green pear, mandarin, grenadine, & bitters Good afternoon, friends! We are diving into Forbidden Beach by Mythical Mushbunny Slimes. This is a thick jelly with a sand-filled sidekick, scented green pear, mandarin, grenadine, and bitters. I edited this to post and realized the slime is MIA. 😭 I suspect it’s currently living its best life in the hands of one of my nieces or nephews. Either way, it’s super irritating because I like to refresh myself on the scent notes and texture while writing my reviews, and I can’t this time! This slime had such a cool design. I loved the shimmery ocean-blue jelly paired with the sandy beach sidekick. The tiki cup and giant extended octopus arm give the slime an ominous feel, while the skull and crossbones really drive home the Forbidden Beach theme. The jelly texture was wonderfully thick and stayed completely non-tacky, even when fully inflated. I especially loved the extra texture the sand added throughout the slime. It produced loud finger clicks and sharp, crackly bubble pops with every squeeze. I even tried to make a giant bubble that would trap the charms inside. I was only semi-successful lol. It didn’t quite turn out the way I envisioned, but it was fun, and that’s a win in my book! I wish I could be more descriptive about the scent, but without the slime in hand I’m relying entirely on memory… and let’s be honest, mine isn’t always the most reliable. 🥴 What I do remember is that it was fruity, tropical, and very enjoyable. I love grenadine, and I specifically remember it not being one of the dominant notes. The citrus and bitters stood out the most to me and gave the scent a bright, beachy cocktail vibe that matched the theme perfectly.
